Zhou Fohai's Former Residence, No. 65, Lane 749, Yuyuan Road

Built around 1935, it was announced as an excellent historical building in Shanghai in 2005. Land area of about 679 square meters, construction area of about 690 square meters. Three-story European Art Deco style building, brick and wood mixed structure, red machine tile slope roof, local Taishan brick veneer. Steel windows, wooden doors, vertical lines, vertical contrast effect, square windows, geometric decoration on the walls between the windows. The overall feeling is thick and rich in change. Zhou Fohai, an early leader of the Chinese Communist Party, an important member of the Chinese Kuomintang government, and later a traitor, once lived here.
