Da Hua Apartment, 918-928 Yan 'an West Road

The English name of Dahua Apartment is Hubertus Court, 914 Yan 'an West Road. It was originally Zhang Jiazhai farmland, covering an area of 3000 square meters and a construction area of 9846 square meters. It has a 10-storey reinforced concrete structure. It was completed in 1937 and designed by Hungarian architect Hudec. This modern small high-rise building has a simple and compact plane and facade design, no cumbersome decoration on the premise of meeting the functional needs, and the exterior wall is elegant in color, which is a typical modern architectural style. In 1978, it was taken over by the Municipal Administration of Organ Affairs and renamed Dahua Hotel. It is now part of Jinjiang Group. In 1999, it was listed as an excellent historical building in Shanghai.
