Based on statistics, nearly 200000 Qidong people work or live in Shanghai, and almost every startup family has relatives in Shanghai.President Cai stressed that since its establishment, the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce has absorbed about 260 member enterprises, covering construction, biomedical, service, manufacturing and other industries. In the future development direction, he said that the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce plans to attract more manufacturing members, and hopes that members and the government can cooperate more closely and develop together.He also mentioned how to better "attract investment" or "be grounded", referring to how to better integrate with the local government, resources and culture.
