Indoor air quality standard is an important technical basis to ensure the indoor air safety of residents. The Indoor Air Quality Standard (GB/T 18883-2022) was officially implemented on February 1, 2023. In order to do a good job in the publicity and implementation of the standard and guide the public and standard implementers to accurately understand and use the standard, the training course on Indoor Air Quality Standard, sponsored by the Environmental Health Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, hosted by the Environmental Institute of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and co-sponsored by Wuxi CDC, was successfully held in Wuxi from 22 to 25 October 2023. A total of more than 200 people from all levels of disease prevention and control institutions, supervision institutions, environmental sanitation and health inspection related technical personnel, universities, scientific research institutions and third-party testing institutions participated in the training. Three air quality assessment commissioners from Shanghai Lingze Information Technology also participated in the training.
Gu Jingyu, Director of the Regulations Division of the Department of Regulations and Regulations of the National CDC, Wang Lin, Director of the Environmental Institute of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Xu Yan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Jiangsu Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Ding Zhen, Director of the Environmental Institute of the Jiangsu Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and Wuxi City Leaders such as director Jiao Jiandong and deputy director Zhou Weijie attended the opening ceremony of the training course. The opening ceremony was presided over by Cheng Yibin, director of the Policy and Regulations and Standards Office of the Environmental Institute of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Xu Yan delivered a welcome speech. Gu Jingyu and Wang Lin successively made "Disease Prevention and Control Standards Management and Work Priorities" and "Environmental Health Standards Promote Business Development" Special reports. The training course invited many experts from the Environmental Institute of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Institute of Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Medicine.
The training content is mainly the following six parts:Policy interpretation of (I) environmental health standards;(II) indoor air quality standard index screening and limit revision;(III) the new version of the standard indoor air quality implementation recommendations;Revision principles and revision of (IV) standard indicator detection methods;(V) indoor air quality standard physical indicators, chemical indicators, biological indicators, radioactive indicators detection methods and quality control measures interpretation;(VI) part of the index testing laboratory operation training.During the period, the trainees visited and inspected the vector biological specimen exhibition hall and indoor air quality testing laboratory of Wuxi CDC.
